The One-Health Initiative began in 2007 in an effort to strengthen the relationship between veterinary and human medicine and environmental science to fight zoonotic diseases. This year also saw the first World Rabies Day, and multiple events took place around the world take place to raise rabies-awareness, A Rabies-Free World will continue its work in the Philippines to mark World Rabies Day on September 28th.
