These animals can get rabies

Apes, monkeys, chimpanzees and gorillas are all mammals and may carry rabies.

There have been reported cases of rabies amongst the wild monkey population in Asia (statistics not available) and travelers are advised to be careful. Visit the Travel Clinic for more information.
